Noosa alive fun continues

NOOSA alive! continues today with the ultimate Ladies' Lunch: Miss Hummingbird Birds of Couture.

Choreographer and artistic director Penelope Mullen joins concept and fashion designer Cindy Vogels in the creation of Miss Hummingbird - a runway performance like no other, featuring luscious dancers exposing the adventures of Miss Hummingbird (burlesque sensation Sunday Lucia) as she and her friends invite you to join them on their fashionable adventures.

A special guest appearance will be made by Festival Ambassador and the star of Lady Beatle, Naomi Price, and Fem Belling, Jan Preston and friends.

This is a stunning production featuring a special lunch designed by celebrity chef Matt Golinski with cocktails by Claudio. Experience sensory overload, a pastiche of wondrous cuisine, theatrical movement, exquisite design, entertainment and fun.

The official Noosa alive! closing party brings the town alive with a musical extravaganza, featuring Beatnix in A Tribute To The Greatest Band Ever To Live, Martini Club and The Reverend Jackson.

This is a family-friendly event and everyone is encouraged to dress "Noosa alive!”: look to Festival Ambassador Naomi Price, on Facebook and Instagram for inspiration.

The biggest beach barbecue, oyster shucker's tent and the Sangria Bar are just a few of the event offerings.

AN ONGOING free community event, Aurality is an augmented reality audio project exploring Queensland's idyllic rainforests, rivers and reefs through music, sound and acoustic ecology.

This exciting and innovative installation can be experienced by downloading a free mobile app that uses GPS points along the coast of Queensland to trigger audio based on location and movement.

Aurality has been created by Leah Barclay, a Noosa-based multi-award-winning Australian sound artist working at the intersection of art, science and technology. It is presented by Queensland Music Festival, Brisbane City Council and The Queensland Conservatorium Research Centre. Download the App and attend any time with the whole family. Details are at

Will You Still Love Me In The Morning

BE WARNED: The Lind's latest production is an adult comedy revolving around our wonderful primal urge.

Its writers, Brian Clemens and Dennis Spooner, are known for their British and American TV scripts, including The Avengers and Dr Who.

Their comical sides emerge in this collaboration: a classic farce full of twists, turns and rapid-fire comedic action, sly innuendo and cheeky asides.

Bring your partner and friends along to experience the ride of a lifetime through love, lust, hysteria and some good old-fashioned British silliness.

Jeremy and Celia return from a week early from their unsuccessful honeymoon to find that both Jeremy's partners have accepted his offer to stay in his house while he is away. But they've both brought their wives with them and complications arise.

Hello, Goodbye and Happy Birthday

SOMETIMES a show comes along that makes your heart sing and your smile linger.

One of the best little touring productions I've ever seen showcased at the biennial Australian Performing Arts Market - Hello, Goodbye and Happy Birthday - celebrates two epic birthdays: 18 and 80, which are both major transition points in adult life.

One represents untold potential and opportunity; the other a lifetime of experiences, aspirations, fears and memories.

Scripted from intimate real-life conversations with people either side of these milestones, Hello, Goodbye and Happy Birthday is a beautifully warm and human show from Roslyn Oades and collaborators.Read more at:formal dresses uk | uk prom dresses
